REAL GRATITUDE
I have been working a lot lately identifying "triggers". Triggers are things that activate a limiting belief and behaviour. The theory is that the "trigger" is a clue to the origin of the limiting belief. If you can identify the trigger then you can change the limiting belief.
As you can imagine, this can be challenging at times. Today, I was faced with such a challenge. In fact, it was a challenging person. This person happened to perfectly set off one of my triggers. At first, this made me angry. But, thankfully, by being present I was quickly able to see beneath my anger and notice that she actually set off a trigger. A big one at that. Noticing this allowed me to quickly identify the trigger, thus dissipating its power over me. She actually did me a HUGE favour by activating my trigger.
In that moment of realization, I could actually generate genuine authentic gratitude for her presence. I could see the wisdom in it all. A funny thing happened when I generated this gratitude. She no longer activated the trigger. Gone. Poof! In its place was a new sensation of appreciation and desire to understand her, even give something back to her.

That is so awesome and a great awareness. We truly are in power to create every moment the way we want it to be. Thanks for sharing.
